The Ministry of Environment (MINISTERIO DE AMBIENTE) updates the delegation of functions for integrated water resource management. The resolution centralizes and consolidates the competencies of the Directorate of Water Security and regional directorates in processing administrative procedures related to concessions, permits, and oppositions. Previous regulations (Resolutions AG-0049-2001, AG-364-01, and AG-0914-2014) are repealed to align the structure with current regulations, including Executive Decree No. 125 of 2021. The directorates are explicitly empowered to resolve water usage right conflicts and other administrative procedures derived from the law.
