The Ministry of Economy and Finance establishes, through this resolution, new maximum fuel prices and weekly subsidy amounts for the transport sector. This measure, in effect from October 2 to October 16, 2026, aims to mitigate the impact of international fuel prices on public transport, essential activities, and artisanal fishing. Specific prices are set at B/. 0.96 per liter for 91 octane gasoline, B/. 1.10 for 95 octane gasoline, and B/. 0.90 for low-sulfur diesel. The maximum subsidized amounts per transport category (public transport, essential freight, and artisanal fishing) are also defined. Validation mechanisms are carried out through the Transit and Land Transport Authority (ATTT), and it is noted that misuse of the benefit will result in exclusion from the program.
