The Ministry of Health (MINSA) approves the clinical guideline for the management of post-exposure prophylaxis with doxycycline (Doxi-PEP) in the Republic of Panama. This guideline is mandatory for the public and private sectors. Its goal is to reduce the incidence of bacterial sexually transmitted infections, specifically syphilis and chlamydia, through the administration of doxycycline within 72 hours after unprotected sexual contact in high-risk groups (men who have sex with men and transgender women). The document includes safety profiles, contraindications, care algorithms, and clinical follow-up recommendations to ensure safe and evidence-based implementation.

The Social Security Fund (CAJA DE SEGURO SOCIAL) issues the Regulation for the Calculation of Economic Benefits, resulting from changes to the pension regime under Law 51 of 2005 and Law 462 of 2025. This regulation details the methodologies for calculating disability, old-age, and death pensions under the three existing systems: Exclusively Defined Benefit Subsystem, Mixed Subsystem, and the Single Capitalization System with Solidarity Guarantee. It includes technical definitions (glossary), pension factor tables, rules for banana and seasonal workers, as well as the handling of excessive salary increases. The document replaces previous regulations (2007) and establishes the rules for calculating sickness and maternity subsidies.

The purpose is to consolidate remaining Real Estate Tax (IBI) funds from 2025 (39,035.71 Balboas) with the 2026 budget (14,035.71 Balboas). The total consolidated amount of 53,071.42 Balboas will be used for a single project titled 'Equipment for Community Services'.

This resolution authorizes lawyers Rogelio Ávila and Grettel Peralta, representing the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MINISTERIO DE ECONOMÍA Y FINANZAS), to manage, sign, and deliver certifications for late payment interest certificates (CEPANIM) destined for survivors and beneficiaries of former public servants or deceased employees who worked between 1972 and 1983. The appointees are empowered to verify the necessary documentation and request the issuance of the certificates from the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic (Contraloría General de la República).
